How to avoid babies sleeping on stomach with beds for kids

Don’t be surprised if we say that beds for kids can help to remove the habit of sleeping on stomach in the kids. This is a common issue where roll on their stomach while in deep sleep. This becomes a habit and slowly they are comfortable in this particular position.
But there are risks in this posture, there can be lack of oxygen as they can re-breathe the carbon dioxide. This also can trigger the lack of blood supply to the heart which affects the heart as well. In some cases, there can be asphyxiation as well.
The child who is comfortable in co-sleeping does feel uncomfortable; in beds for kids initially, but those who sleep on their back are particularly against the idea. They ultimately curl up and try to fold themselves as they need someone the sleep with them.
Medical practitioners and researchers always recommend babies to sleep on their own after the age of 3. It is the perfect age to get out of the cot and sleep on the toddler’s bed. Even parents should avoid kids sleeping in a crib or co-sleeping rolling on their stomach in deep sleep. Place pillows sideways to leave no space for them to roll in the formidable position.
Buy beds for kids who have ample space to accommodate the side pillows if your kid has the habit of using them. Sleeping on stomach habit can develop at any age and so the best way is to avoid it from the very beginning.
